It is known that the two professors have chosen Lee’s daughter as the passer of the former Vice-Chancellor’s daughter as the candidates for manipulating test scores. The prosecution is reported to be investigating 10 professors at Yonsei University, including them, who were accused of fraudulently admitting the daughter of Vice-Chancellor Lee at the time in the second semester of 2016, in the entrance examination for the master’s course in marketing major at Yonsei University’s business department. In the first document evaluation, her daughter ranked 9th out of 16 students, but received a perfect score in the qualitative evaluation such as the study plan, and was promoted to the second oral test, and received a full score of 100 in the second oral test, making it the only among 16 applicants. It is reported that the applicants who finished first and second in the document screening, respectively, scored as low as 47 and 63 in the oral score.
Former Vice-Chancellor Lee was found to have served as Vice-Chancellor of the International Campus for about four years from January 2016 to January this year, including when his daughter was enrolled.
