Maartje and Savannah welcomed their daughter Loua in October of last year. If the girl suddenly doesn’t feel well this weekend, Maartje and Savannah have to call an ambulance, she writes. “Dear little girl, please don’t ever do this again. You scared us this weekend. Up to 2 times an ambulance was at the door. The 2nd time was really the very last time! Our little darling is doing well now, really very well and that is all we want to share about this.
Savannah writes that it was the first time in their lives that they had to call 112 and that they realize how lucky we are in the Netherlands with the healthcare staff. ‘We think these heroes, because they really are, deserve a little more attention and love. We are so grateful for the help we received from the lovely lady on the phone who stayed on the phone until the ambulance team arrived to the paediatricians and all the assistants who were there for us.’
