entertainment">It will be the first time that Jessica, the middle child of ‘The Boss’ and Patti, represents the United States with US Equestrian. She will ride her 12 year old horse Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, as the animal is called. It has always been Jessica’s big dream to compete in the Olympics, especially after she had to cancel the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro due to an injury to her horse.
entertainment">The Springsteen scion thinks it’s important not to be just known as ‘Bruce’s daughter’. “She studied psychology and really creates her own path. She is also fully committed to equestrian sports and she has done so on her own,” said equestrian legend Melanie Smith Taylor, winner of the gold medal at the 1984 Games.
entertainment">Springsteen is on a team with three other teammates, to which two more reserves have been added. The Olympics will be held from July 23 to August 8.
