That’s how much Katja’s 11-year-old daughter ‘hates’ when her mother talks about sex in the media. “And I understand that too,” says Katja in Smokey Sessions, the YouTube show of men’s magazine FHM. “My father and some other people hate that too, by the way. I’m just very open and I’m actually embarrassed for very little.”
Katja admits that she herself is guilty of being asked about her sex life. “At one point I put together a very nice anthology with all kinds of erotic poems and stories. I wrote a foreword for that, which I found very witty myself. I was very explicit about that. I had not assumed that this would always be referred to in interviews,” says Katja.
The presenter therefore finds it ‘bland’ to leave questions about her sex life unanswered. “But maybe I shouldn’t have done that at all,” she realizes.
