The date took place at a sports bar in the city of Durham in the US state of North Carolina.
In a video which is now going viral on TikTokWilson tells of what happened.

Sudden turnaround
Hinge markets itself as the only app that promotes long-term relationships.
Rachel Wilson says the two had been communicating on Hinge for about four days before deciding to meet.
They met outside the sports bar, where they had planned to order chicken wings and beer.
They never got that far.
They managed to greet each other before the date suddenly said that he had parked the wrong way and had to move the car.

Unaware that the date had run away from her, Wilson waited for his return.
He didn’t.
– I stood in front of the sports pub for around five minutes before I got the text message, she says.
The message was from the date, and it read like this:
“Sorry, but I didn’t feel it.”

Wilson says she didn’t bother to answer the message and deleted his number right away.
– If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m so self-confident, I would have been completely crushed. Fortunately, I am very confident in myself and have a lot of self-confidence, so this will not affect my dating life going forward, she says.
