Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season is just around the corner. At the start we already have a few great duels, stars in new jerseys and an impressive new stadium. SPOX says what you should pay special attention to.

2/19
CHIEFS vs. TEXANS: The NFL starts the new season with a rematch of the Divisional Games from January. At that time KC won 51:31 after a clear Houston lead. Will the revenge be successful or will the champion start with the next fireworks?

3/19
TEXANS WITHOUT HOPKINS: The Texans are competing for the first time without superstar DeAndre Hopkins. This is a big change for QB Deshaun Watson as he no longer has a built-in safety net. Who will be his top target now?

4/19
CLDYE EDWARDS-HELAIRE: The rookie running back is making his debut and we are seeing for the first time how exactly the Chiefs will use him. The expectation is that he will fit perfectly into this offense and will be an asset, especially in the passing game.

CAM NEWTON: The Patriots’ new QB didn’t want to reveal anything about his team’s new offense at the weekend. We’ll see them on Saturday against Miami. Focus on the run? Run Pass Options or even Read Options, Triple Options? Exciting!

6/19
SEAHAWKS-OFFENSE: The central question remains – will Wilson finally be allowed to do it? In Seattle (against Atlanta), do you finally bet on your QB and the passing game from the start or are you still standing in the way with the focus on the running game?

7/19
PANTHERS OFFENSE: The Panthers are coming into the new season completely overhauled. What will that look like? Still unclear, the focus should still be on Christian McCaffrey. But how does the interaction with Bridgewater and the receivers work?

PHILIP RIVERS: Rivers is making his Colts debut and we wonder what this offense will be like. High quality receivers and a great O-Line speak for many (deep) passes, but Jonathan Taylor more for the run.

9/19
JOE BURROW: The first overall pick is making his long-awaited debut (against the Chargers) and can show for the first time how far he is. Against a top defense, however, there is a real endurance test.

10/19
AJ GREENS RETURN: He was out the entire preseason and is now returning for what may be his final season in Cincy. Will the former top star return to his level from before the injury and will he stay 1 in the receiving corps?

11/19
BRADY vs, BREES, Part I: The absolute top game of the week is in New Orleans! For the first time, the two superstar quarterbacks will meet in the same division, both with spectacular offensives. Fireworks preprogrammed.

12/19
SoFi STADIUM: The star is the stadium at the Sunday Night Game between the Cowboys and Rams in LA! The spectacular home of the Rams and Chargers celebrates its premiere in prime time (live on DAZN from 2.20 a.m.). And the teams also give something.

13/19
CHASE YOUNG: Another very promising rookie! Young is considered the greatest defensive talent for years and meets with Washington against Philly on a strong offensive line. Is Young showing his enormous potential right away?

14/19
BROWNS OFFENSE: The Browns have backed up offensively with new tight ends (Hooper, Bryant) and in the offensive line (Tackles Conklin and Wills). This new offense faces the first acid test against the Ravens.

15/19
DeANDRE HOPKINS: The new top receiver of the Cardinals makes his debut against a weakened secondary of the 49ers. Will he play big and show what Arizona is capable of with him?

16/19
ROOKIE-WIDE-RECEIVER: The WR class of 2020 should be a very special one. Week 1 therefore offers people like Jerry Jeudy (Broncos), CeeDee Lamb (Cowboys) or Henry Ruggs III (Raiders) the first opportunity to present themselves to the NFL world .

17/19
BEN ROETHLISBERGER: Big Ben is back! The Steelers-QB is making its comeback after almost a year off (elbow). Is he the old man again? Against the Giants on Monday evening (Tuesday, 1:15 a.m. live on DAZN), he is the focus.

18/19
NEW LOOK BRONCOS: The Broncos have also upgraded aggressively. Against the Titans (Tuesday, from 4.15 a.m. live on DAZN) the baptism of fire for QB Drew Lock and his new receivers will follow.

19/19
DANIEL JONES: The Giants QB starts a series of great challenges against the Steelers against grandiose pass rush units. He had his problems with Pressure in the rookie season. Now he has to show an improvement early on.
