PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Dassault Aviation announced Tuesday evening the certification of its new Falcon 6X private jet by the European and American air authorities.
This business jet will have a range of more than 10,000 km and will be able to fly 12 hours non-stop.
“The EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) today issued the type certificate to the Falcon 6X, leading to its certification by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) on the same day,” the group said in a press release.
This certification should be followed by similar decisions in other countries and “stabilizes the schedule for entry into service of the Falcon 6X, the first copies of which are in the finishing phase”, specifies the press release.
