‘If I talk like that, hit me!’ Another star gave an example of Oksana Marchenko’s insincerity
Popular TV presenter and actress Dasha Tregubova admitted that she considers the former Ukrainian presenter and “ex-patriot” Oksana Marchenko to be too vain and insincere. She recalled one of the awards of the Viva! magazine, from which she understood the unpleasant character of the wife of former people’s deputy Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of treason.
From interview By Dasha Tregubova on Alina Dorotyuk’s YouTube channel, one can understand that both TV presenters hardly communicated, but only sometimes crossed paths at different events. During one such event, Tregubova realized that Oksana Marchenko was insincere and insidious.
“We met at events. It was ‘Viva!’ The most beautiful” or “Viva! Ball” and I remember that at the end Oksana came out and was given some kind of award. She read out a speech… I really don’t like, but I feel it well, any insincerity,” Tregubova recalled.
According to the actress, Marchenko put herself above others and gave herself the importance of the best star in Ukrainian show business. She emphasized her “importance to society” with a low timbre, which made Tregubova nervous.
“Oksana is [награждение – Ред.] took over as [звание. – Ред.] “mother”. She just said it like that [Трегубова снизила тембр голоса]. And this makes my eye twitch. If I ever start talking like that, please hit me. You can not do it this way. No need. I understand that every nation needs some kind of guides, but these should not be people in white coats that they just bought yesterday from Dolce & Gabana,” said the TV presenter.
The producer of a large number of popular projects on TV channels 1+1 and STB, Vladimir Zavadyuk, also spoke about Oksana Marchenko’s insincerity. In 2018, the TV presenter took part in the “Dancing with the Stars” project, giving the impression of a patriot of Ukraine and a calm, adequate person. She spoke in Ukrainian and protested against the Russian language on the show. Subsequently, after dropping out of “Dancing with the Stars,” Marchenko stated that she agreed to participate only to “make some noise in this swamp,” and in 2023, after accusing her husband of treason, she went to Russia and seemed to have completely forgotten about the Ukrainian language.
