The duo Hall & Oates no longer get along with each other. Musicians Daryl Hall and John Oates are fighting a dispute in court. Hall has sued his musical other half.

It is not clear what Hall accuses his colleague of TMZ. Conversely, Oates has filed for a restraining order against the musician with whom he recorded hits such as Maneater in I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) scored. This ban has already been granted by a judge.

According to TMZ Oates is said to have committed a form of breach of contract, which may indicate a dispute over the revenue of their songs. Oates is said to have sung the duo’s songs during solo performances, which is a sore spot for Hall.

77-year-old Hall and 75-year-old Oates have been a duo for more than fifty years, but also perform solo. They scored several big hits in the eighties.
