In Liverpool’s two pre-season games, Nunez still hasn’t scored. In fact, he was in the spotlight because instead he sent a golden opportunity to soar over the goal.
Klopp is aware that Nunez be the talk. The German manager admitted that he did not really think about it.
“I’m not worried at all (about Nunez),” Klopp said as reported by 90min.
“The score is 0.0 per cent interesting. We all know it was a joke, or a game for some people to take a situation where the players are not playing well.”
“One thing that is important, first and foremost, is how I assess the situation for the players. I couldn’t be more calm about that. I am very confident about his potential,” he added.
