But it’s not just Littler’s age that stands out, but also that of his girlfriend Eloise Milburn. The 21-year-old, who always actively supports her loved one at his games, is now confronted with harsh accusations on the Internet.

Given the five-year age difference between the pair, allegations surfaced on social media ahead of the finale that Littler’s partner was only dating him because of his recent success and fame. Now the 21-year-old’s mother, Amanda Milburn, spoke to the English newspaper Daily Mail on the allegations: “This is a bunch of lies and disgusting.” My daughter is not with Luke for one of these reasons. “She doesn’t care about his money or his fame, she’s with him because she likes him,” Milburn clarified. She finds the allegations “really hurtful.”
The facts also speak for the young lovers: According to the paper, the 16-year-old and his girlfriend became a couple shortly before the tournament, when Littler was not yet the celebrated star of the scene. The two share a love of sports and met online about six weeks ago through a video game.

Apart from that, there are a few other strange circumstances and stories surrounding the 16-year-old shooting star of darts – including his path to the sport. At the age of eight or nine, Littler regularly went to the pub with his father and threw darts.
Four years ago, at a pub challenge, there was a meeting with the man against whom Littler is playing on Wednesday for 500,000 pounds (the equivalent of almost 600,000 euros) and the huge Sid Waddell Trophy: Luke Humphries, who is 28 years old today be the winner in 2023, was by far the best player in the darts scene.

At 63 years old and with 16 world championship titles, Phil Taylor is no longer active.
