Of Star Warsprequels are by no means loved by everyone. But pretty much everyone agrees that Darth Maul was a great addition to the movie universe. And though the Sith was cut in half in it The Phantom Menace, he remains popular.
In fact, Maul was so popular that he returned in Solo: A Star Wars Story and in the television series The Clone Wars in Rebels. When Solo hadn’t been a flop, Maul would have been instrumental in sequels, as the head of crime syndicate Crimson Dawn. But rest assured, he will likely return more often.
Role for Darth Maul
Daniel Richtman reports that the villain may be seen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. And he would be in a lot more Star Warsmaterial. According to the good, Lucasfilm is working on nine series in addition The Mandalorian and at least three movies.
So if you look at it that way, there are a lot of options for Lucasfilm to make the fan-favorite character return.
