D’Artacán and the three Muskedogs From the series to the cinema

Winner of the best director award at the Cannes Film Festival, Annette is a musical and a drama but also an intimate story and, above all, a madness in which Leos Carax has implicated Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, and with which he has built an unclassifiable, excessive and brilliant film. The film revolves around a stand-up writer (Adam Driver) and a world-famous singer (Marion Cotillard), who form a happy couple surrounded by glamor whose life changes with the arrival of their daughter, a mysterious girl with an exceptional destiny. With a soundtrack by Sparks, it is an eccentric and disconcerting musical from a director who already gave evidence of his overflowing imagination and his personal universe in his acclaimed Holy Motors.

40-year-old “derailed” traveling in Europe

The trio made up of Julián López, Ernesto Sevilla and Arturo Valls stars in Derailed, a “crazy and hooligan” comedy in which three 40-year-old friends decide to do the Interraíl in Europe together that they couldn’t carry out when they were in their twenties. Directed by Fernando García-Ruiz, who disembarks in the cinema from the world of advertising after debuting with the short Como yo te amo, nominated for the Goya in 2018, the script is in charge of David Marqués, co-author with Javier Fesser of the story of Champions.

The animated series that resurrects on the big screen

D’Artacán y los tres Mosqueperros, the successful animated series broadcast on television in the 80s and inspired by the most famous novel by Alexander Dumas, is now being adapted to the big screen thanks to the persistence of its creator, Claudio Biern Boyd, who at 80 years of age has teamed up with director Toni García for the project. The film offers an updated version of the iconic series seen on more than 300 networks in more than 100 countries, but the story remains true to the original mixing action, adventure and comedy.
