40-year-old “derailed” traveling in Europe
The trio made up of Julián López, Ernesto Sevilla and Arturo Valls stars in Derailed, a “crazy and hooligan” comedy in which three 40-year-old friends decide to do the Interraíl in Europe together that they couldn’t carry out when they were in their twenties. Directed by Fernando García-Ruiz, who disembarks in the cinema from the world of advertising after debuting with the short Como yo te amo, nominated for the Goya in 2018, the script is in charge of David Marqués, co-author with Javier Fesser of the story of Champions.
Ryan Reynolds, a video game hero in “Free Guy”
Fantasy and reality intermingle in the life of a bank teller (Ryan Reynolds) who one day discovers that he is a secondary character in a video game and decides to become the hero. From a script by Matt Lieberman (The Addams Family) and Zak Penn, Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum trilogy Crazy Night and Pure Steel) directs the film that is released a year late due to the pandemic.
The animated series that resurrects on the big screen
D’Artacán y los tres Mosqueperros, the successful animated series broadcast on television in the 80s and inspired by the most famous novel by Alexander Dumas, is now being adapted to the big screen thanks to the persistence of its creator, Claudio Biern Boyd, who at 80 years of age has teamed up with director Toni García for the project. The film offers an updated version of the iconic series seen on more than 300 networks in more than 100 countries, but the story remains true to the original mixing action, adventure and comedy.
