“D’Artacán y los tres Mosqueperros”, the successful animated series broadcast on television in the 80s and inspired by the most famous novel by Alejandro Dumas, hits the big screen this Wednesday thanks to the “persistence” of its creator, Claudio Biern Boyd, and the “talent” of its director, Toni García.
“The idea of making a film had haunted us for a long time, but at that time it was difficult. So a few years ago Toni and I rolled the blanket over our heads and decided to move the project forward,” he says in an interview with Efe. Biern, who adds that “it was not easy” to spend about 13 hours of content to 90 minutes.
