On Tuesday (11) at the Donnersbergring, the driver of an Italian luxury brand sports car with more than 600 hp was checked by traffic inspectors at the police headquarters in southern Hesse.

A measurement of stationary noise carried out by an expert as part of the subsequent inspection showed that the sports car had a value of 97 decibels, but only 93 decibels would be allowed. In the further trial, law enforcement also discovered that both the front windows and the front window had been illegally covered with a dark film. Due to the darker coloring, it was no longer guaranteed that other road users could be recognized sufficiently and in time. This greatly increases the risk of accidents, particularly at sunset or in adverse weather conditions. Similarly, in the event of an accident, it is difficult for rescuers to glaze the glass, which would represent an additional risk for the driver himself and for other passengers in case of need for assistance.

Due to the illegal modification of the windows, the vehicle was stopped on the spot by the carabinieri. The operating license had expired. The driver and sports car owner now face fines and points in Flensburg.
