Darmstadt: High-quality notebook stolen from the car / Police strongly advise: Do not leave any valuables in the car

Darmstadt (ots) – On Friday night (4th – 5th February) criminals stole a high-quality notebook that had been left behind from a blue Toyota in Rundeturmstrasse. In order to get to the coveted loot, which was in the footwell of the back seat, the perpetrators smashed the side window, grabbed the coveted stolen property and went with it. The criminal investigation department in Darmstadt has now taken over the further investigations. On 06151/9690 the officers of the commissariat 21/22 receive evidence of the perpetrators. In this regard, the police reiterate their urgent advice: do not leave anything of value in your car. Even supposed hiding places such as the trunk or footwell offer no protection from thieves. A car is not a safe! These “hiding spots” can be found quickly and items left behind can be stolen from the vehicle in a short time.
