Darmstadt (ots) – On Friday evening (March 12th) at 9:05 p.m. a fight between two men in the tram of line 9 was reported in Darmstadt’s Paulusviertel. The train was on its way to the city center when one of the two men suddenly attacked the other, a 34-year-old. The tram driver stopped the train and one of the men could be locked out. Then he kicked in the driver’s door window and fled. A few minutes later, the fugitive was found and arrested by the police. The act was confirmed by several witnesses. Now the 31-year-old man is expected to be charged with assault and property damage. Both men come from Darmstadt and knew each other. You were drunk at the time of the crime. The bat was taken into custody to prevent further crime and to sober up.
