The lecture series of the Evangelical City Academy Darmstadt ends with a lecture by the Green MEP Sven Giegold. A conversation follows about the question of whether capitalism can still be saved.
The series of lectures “Can capitalism still be saved?” As part of the Philosophical-Theological Salon of the Evangelical City Academy Darmstadt will end this Thursday, March 11th, with a lecture and a discussion. The event, which starts at 6.30 p.m., will be broadcast live on the City Academy’s YouTube channel from the Pauluskirche. At the end of the series, the financial expert Sven Giegold, who has been a member of the European Parliament for the Greens since 2009, will first give a lecture. The speaker will be switched on via video.
Then the Darmstadt lawyer and deputy CDU parliamentary group chairman Peter Franz and the social democrat Thomas Spengler, who works as a professor of corporate management and organization at the University of Magdeburg and is a candidate for the city parliament, will discuss the subject of “course correction or System question? Talk to each other on the future of capitalism.
