Darmizal’s lawyer argued tough with the police, asking for his report to AHY to be processed

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Bareskrim Polri is still studying the reports of former Party cadres Democrats, Darmizal against Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) on suspicion of falsification of the deed of establishment of the party.

There has been no policy report (LP) issued by the investigator to report the matter.

“We decided to meet again on Tuesday (16/3/2021). Can this be continued with the reporting process or not, because fellow investigators need time to examine,” said Darmizal’s attorney, Rusdiansyah, at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (12/3/2021).

Rusdiansyah said that one of the reasons investigators did not issue an LP for the case was because it was deemed that it could be resolved internally at the party court.

He also admitted that there had been quite a tough debate with investigators. “Fraud should be processed in the police,” said Rusdiansyah.

According to him, AHY is suspected of falsifying the authentic AD / ART deed related to the founder of the Democratic Party in 2020.

AHY is considered to have secretly listed the name Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as the founder of the Democratic Party.

Rusdiansyah accused SBY’s inclusion without going through the party mechanism.

According to Rusdiansyah, SBY was not one of the founders or founding fathers Democratic party. Because, on the deed of establishment of the Democratic Party in 2001, there was no name SBY.

“So in 2020 AHY is strongly suspected of making changes outside the congress forum the founding fathers The Democrat Party is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Franky Rumangkeng. Meanwhile, the establishment of the Democratic Party in 2001 did not have the name Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the founder of the Democratic Party, “he explained.
