The co-op action movie Warhammer 40,000: Darktide from Fatshark studio will be available only on PC and Xbox Series X | S at the time of release. The game’s technical producer Mikael Hansson commented on the studio’s decision and noted that it is not easy to release the game on multiple platforms at once.
“We have been working with Microsoft for many years and they are a great partner. We’re thrilled to be working with Microsoft on Vermintide 2 and using that as a foundation to create exciting things in the future. It’s no secret that the release of games on several platforms at once takes a lot of time. We want to ensure that the game is released simultaneously on PC and Xbox consoles, ”said Hansson.
There is no exact release date for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide yet.
The previous project of the Fatshark studio (Warhammer: Vermintide 2) initially appeared only on PC, then came out on the Xbox One and only after that made it to the PS4.
