Industry and services drag entrepreneurs’ morale down
In industry, concerns about order books and past production are weighing on morale. In the servicesthe business climate indicator has fallen compared to July and is back to its long-term average, due in particular to the decline in the balances of opinion relating to activity.
In the retail business (including automobile trade and repair), the business climate is virtually stable, above its long-term average. Finally, in the buildingthe business climate is improving a little this month, due to the rebound in the balance of opinion on recent and future activity.
