A tragic accident occurred on the night of September 14-15 on Trasa Łazienkowska in Warsaw. The Volkswagen, driven by Łukasz Ż., at a great speed he hit the rear of a Ford that was traveling correctly in the middle lane. As a result, the car hit the energy-absorbing barriers.
His passenger, a 37-year-old man, died at the scene. His wife, who was driving the vehicle, and their two children, aged four and eight, were taken to hospital.
There were five people travelling in the Volkswagen. The driver, suspected of causing the accident, Łukasz Ż., he fled the scene to Germany. He and three of his friends were detained. The 26-year-old is now awaiting extradition to Poland.

The dark past of Łukasz Ż’s girlfriend
Łukasz Ż.’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Paulina, was seriously injured in the accident. She was taken to hospital in serious condition, where she remains to this day. The woman suffered numerous injuries. She has a severed spinal cord, a contused skull, broken cheekbones and knocked out teeth.
“Fakt” found out dark information about her past. “Paulina K. has a criminal past” – the tabloid reports. It turns out that in 2022. together with her mother were convicted of drug smuggling. Łukasz Ż.’s girlfriend was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison, and her mother to 4 years. It is not known why – despite the sentence imposed on her – Paulina K. was driving a Volkswagen on the night of September 14-15.
“Karolina K. and Paulina K., acting together and in agreement, and possibly with the help of one more person, arriving in Sweden (by ferry to Ystad from Świnoujście), They did not report to the Customs Office 48,370 tablets of Tramadol and 3,480 tablets containing Oxikodone, which is also a narcotic” – “Fakt” reports, citing the content of the judgment.
The smuggling was discovered during a baggage check in Ystad.
