Rudy’s brother-in-law first mapped Mount Kerinci.

So he has obtained complete data regarding Mount Kerinci such as routes, water sources, a place safe from the wind to set up a tent, and looking for a professional porter.

In fact, when climbing the mountain with Anna, the climbing situation was different from what she usually did.

He will not force himself to summit or go to the top when the situation is not peaceful.

Apart from carrying adequate climbing equipment, Rudy also brought land navigation equipment, a handy talky communication device, medicine and oxygen.

So that when danger occurs, it can be dealt with correctly.

“For my child’s safety, a month before climbing I did mapping, sir, to see the condition of the route, water sources and dangerous terrain on Mount Kerinci,” said Rudy by telephone, Monday (11/9/2023).

It is known that Rudy, who has a nature-loving student background and is a SAR team volunteer, has taken Anna to climb 22 mountains.

These include Kerinci, Rinjani and Mount Agung.
