British pageant queen Darcey Corria (21) is seriously injured after an accident in Bridgend in Wales.
Corria was crowned Miss Wales in 2022, and will therefore participate in Miss World in May.

According to Sky News she is now in hospital, after she was involved in a serious car accident. As a result of the accident, which happened on 19 January, Corria has broken her pelvis and two bones in her neck.
The official Instagram account of Miss Wales writes that she will probably be fully recovered by the next pageant.
“Darcey is receiving lots of love and support from her close family, who have been reassured that she will make a full recovery. Although the accident will have an impact on Darcey’s preparations for Miss World in May, we are hopeful and confident that she will still be able to fly the flag for Wales,” it said in a statement.
“Please send your love to Darcey. She will see it and we are sure she will appreciate it.”
It was on Thursday in the sixties that the police in South Wales confirmed that a woman had been taken to hospital after a car accident.
Among other things, police officers had to assist with managing traffic on the motorway.
