Since that musical discovery, Dany Zare has not stopped getting involved in this fascinating world and began studying piano, guitar, bass, drums, singing and cajón at an early age. But it was not until he was 25 years old, and after having made many efforts to study and work in Lima and Buenos Aires, that he managed to obtain a vacancy in the renowned study center and moved to Boston.

A few months after beginning his last year of studies, the young chalaco has materialized a musical project that he planned for a long time and that is a tribute to his Peruvian origins and his marked musical influences, such as Andean music, metal and synth. pop.

Along these lines, “Landina” uses Andean saxophone melodies that blend harmoniously with the cajón, the quijada, the electric guitar, the synthesizers and the drums in the middle of an Andean environment, also reinforced by a part sung in Quechua. Who is Danny Zare?

Daniel Dávila Zari (26) was born and raised in Callao. His professional training began at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), where he studied musical composition for 3 years. Then, thanks to a visit from Berklee, he made it his goal to go to Boston.

With that in mind, he moved to Buenos Aires, where he studied and graduated as a professional musician at the Escuela de Música Contemporánea, finally transferring the credits and aiming for a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Music Business and Electronic Music Production & Sound Design at Berklee College of Music

Likewise, the artist co-founded and currently leads the Peruvian Peruvian Student Community community and ensemble, with a view to generating presence and visibility of our music in Boston. In parallel, he is a decisive part of the “Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence” club and works as an assistant to the dean of the Music Business degree, in order to cover the maximum number of working hours allowed to cover the expenses of studies and accommodation. .

Despite the fact that the promising young man is a recipient of the Gross Hill partial scholarship, he still requires funds to complete his degree and graduate, which is why he is looking for funds from independent organizations.
