In an interview with Wirtualna Polska, Cieślik and Dmowska-Andrzejuk reject the allegations made by the new management of Totalizator Sportowy, claiming that their actions were in accordance with the law and their work was not sham.
However, the company indicates that for the period from April 2021 to November 2023, Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk was to earn approximately PLN 438,615.8, even though her presence at work was sporadic and undocumented, and analysis of email correspondence did not reveal any activities related to consulting.

Fictitious employment and conflict of interest
Totalizator Sportowy also suspects a conflict of interest. Dmowska-Andrzejuk, in addition to her advisory role, also held the position of the president of the management board of SUPERLIGA SA, with which Totalizator cooperatedThe company emphasizes that it found no evidence of Dmowska-Andrzejuk performing actual duties, and the conclusion of the employment contract was fictitious.
“There is no doubt that the actions of Olgierd Cieślik enabling the fictitious employment of Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk as an advisor to the management board, directly subordinate to him (then the president of the management board) were inexpedient and apparent. (…) As a result of the analysis of the employee activity of Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk, it should be assumed that her employment was solely aimed at meeting her financial needswithout taking into account the employer’s interests,” we read in the letter to the prosecutor’s office.
It was also noted that the behavior of Cieślik and Dmowska-Andrzejuk could have violated the law. Both parties in their statements strongly deny the allegations and emphasize that their actions were transparent and in accordance with the applicable regulations, and the cooperation with SUPERLIGA was aimed at promotion of sports and strategic development of the company.
The case has now been referred to the prosecutor’s office and further legal actions will depend on the assessment of the evidence presented and analysis by law enforcement authorities.
