“Danube Dragons, Rangers, and Raiders Dominate Week 3 of Austrian Football League”

Defending champion Danube Dragons celebrated a comfortable 35:13 home win over the Steelsharks in Week 3 of the Austrian Football League (AFL). dream The Telfs Patriots had to admit defeat to the Rangers Mödling 13:21 without their injured quarterback Aaron Ellis. Like the Rangers, the SWARCO RAIDERS Tirol also achieved their first win of the season on Saturday – 45:23 at AFL newcomers GBG Graz Styrian Bears. Defending champions Danube Dragons celebrated an ultimately clear victory against the Steelsharks Traun in their second home game. Both teams managed a touchdown in the first half. The Viennese advanced in the middle of the first quarter, the guests followed suit at the beginning of the second. The preliminary decision was made after the break. The Dragons managed a kickoff return touchdown and put the ball in the end zone three more times (two touchdowns, one two-point conversion). The Steelsharks managed a touchdown. With 29:13 it went into the last quarter, in which the hosts were able to add six points. The Dragons are now holding two wins, the Steelsharks have not yet been able to write.

Nevertheless, the Patriots were able to get the first points on the scoreboard in the Telfs sports center (7:0). However, it should remain the only touchdown of the hosts. Because they only get two field goals in the second quarter through David Ladner.
