Old Town, See.- A fire of great magnitude was the one that was registered in the ejido area, in an area of 30 hectares.
The events took place around 12:00 hours in the Clemente Torres ejido, where the vast majority of the aid and security forces of this municipality traveled.
And it is that, after the residents of the aforementioned town noticed the impressive flames, they reported the fact to the emergency number 911, reaching the point of the Municipal Police, local Civil Protection with pipes, and a group of volunteers.
The fiery element in a few minutes spread over approximately 30 hectares of grassland, so the courageous firefighters and other security personnel immediately took on the task of stopping the advance of the fire.
However, unfortunately the sporadic gusts of wind recorded this day caused the flames to revive shortly after they were extinguished, making it difficult for firefighters to work.
It should be noted that the cause of this incident is presumed to be the magnifying glass effect, caused by the sun’s rays hitting a piece of glass.
Until now, the intense maneuvers of the Vulcans continue at the point, as the flames have not given respite, as they constantly reignite after the passage of the blizzard.
