Danny Masterson, 47, has been transferred from one of California’s worst prisons.
The “That ’70s Show” star is now serving his sentence at a lower-security facility in San Luis Obispo.
The actor was transferred to the California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, California on February 16, writes USA Today.
A representative for CDCR, the California Department of Corrections, confirmed the move to the site but declined to elaborate on the reasons for it, citing confidentiality.

“One of California’s worst”
Danny Masterson previously served his sentence at the high-security Corcoran prison in Delano, which has been called one of California’s worst prisons. The cult leader Charles Manson is one of the criminals who have been there before. The California Men’s Colony has a lower security level and the move is, according to American media, “a positive” turn for the actor.

30 years in prison
Masterson was sentenced last September to 30 years in prison for two rapes and acquitted of a third. He himself has denied all the accusations.
The actor got his big break in the early 00s, when he played the role of Steven Hyde in the popular TV series “That 70’s show”.
