After 15 seasons in the NBA, Danny Green has announced his retirement from basketball.
Greenwho announced his retirement on his podcast on Thursday, is one of four players in the history of the NBA in winning championships with three different teams (2014 with the Spurs2019 with the Raptors2020 with the Lakers).
“I’m officially moving on from the game of basketball, from the NBA. It’s been a great career,” he said. Green. “I’m very proud to be able to walk away from the game. I’m at peace with it.”
The 37-year-old was known as a 40% 3-point shooter from behind the arc and a leader in the locker room throughout his career. He played two games for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2023-24 before being ruled out after the operation that sent James Harden to the LA Clippers.
