JAKARTA – The Indonesian Army (TNI AD) transferred the Commander General (Danjen) of Kopassus Major General TNI Widi Prasetijono. Besides Danjen Kopassusthere are a number of high -ranking officers (Pati) who also receive position mutations.
The Head of the Information Service of the Indonesian Army (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Tatang Subarna confirmed the transfer of the position of Danjen Kopassus to MNC Portal on Tuesday (29/3/2022). Apart from the Danjen Kopassus, there are a number of high-ranking officers (Pati) who have changed positions.
“Regarding the mutation of Pati (High Officer) within the Indonesian Army, including the Danjen Kopassus, it is true,” said Brigadier General Tatang.

Brigadier General Tatang said the mutation process was part of the regeneration of leadership within the Indonesian Army. “This is a natural thing because regeneration and career development patterns for Indonesian Army Soldiers are needed,” said Brigadier General Tatang.
According to Brigadier General Tatang, although the position transfer has been determined, there has not been a job handover procession (certificate). “We will convey the relevant release after the certificate is carried out,” said Brigadier General Tatang.
