Danish queen Margrethe infected with coronavirus: should all royals present at the queen’s funeral now be tested? | Queen Elizabeth II has died

The Danish queen Margrethe contracted the crown for the second time this year. The queen currently resides in Fredensborg Palace. All her activities for the next week have been canceled. She is said to have held a meeting on Friday at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen for members of the government and parliament.

It is striking that Margrethe was still present in London on Sunday and last Monday at the farewell of Queen Elizabeth. During her funeral in Westminster Abbey she sat in the front row with her son, Crown Prince Frederik, just like King William Alexander, Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrice. Right behind her were the members of the Spanish royal family, with our royal couple Filip and Mathilde behind them. The Danish queen also had very close contact with King Charles III on Monday. A photo of this was posted yesterday by the Danish royal family.

It is still unclear whether the current monarchs need to be tested. Current measures do not prescribe mandatory testing. For the time being, there have been no replies from our royal family.
