Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that her country has decided to transfer all its artillery to Ukraine so that it can confront the enemy. She also called on European countries to increase military assistance, because other countries still have ammunition and air defense systems.
The head of the Danish government stated this during a speech at 7th Ukrainian lunch, which takes place as part of the Munich Security Conference. Frederiksen noted that Ukraine needs help right now, so European countries must be more prompt, reports 24 Channel.

“We need to do more”
The Danish Prime Minister called on Europe to provide Ukraine with more ammunition, air defense systems and other weapons that Ukraine needs. She noted that these needs are urgent, but European leaders often cite problems with weapons production as a barrier to increasing supplies, and are now opening new defense plants for the future.
But Ukraine is asking us for ammunition and artillery now. We, Denmark, have decided to transfer all our artillery to Ukraine. Therefore, excuse me, friends, there is military equipment in Europe, this is not only a matter of production. We have weapons, ammunition, air defense systems, which we do not use yet. They must be transferred to Ukraine,
Frederiksen said.
The minister also noted that Europe must take responsibility for itself and its security on its own, and not wait for the United States to make an appropriate decision.
“We need to do more,” said the head of the Danish government.
The Czech Republic found 800 thousand ammunition for Ukraine
Czech President Petr Pavel said during the Ukrainian lunch that his country had found 800 thousand artillery shells for Ukraine. They could be handed over in the coming weeks if funding can be found.
Now we have found half a million shells of 155 mm caliber, and another 300 thousand shells of 122 mm caliber, which we can transport to Ukraine in a few weeks if we find funding for this. We will turn to partners in the USA, Germany, Sweden and so on for this help.
– Pavel stated.
He added that Western leaders need to be prompt and more flexible, like Ukrainian soldiers. Therefore, the President of the Czech Republic called on partners to continue to work actively so that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could receive all the necessary ammunition and equipment on time.
