The speed limit at the site was 130. Now the car, a Lamborghini Huracán, has been seized, reports Finansavisen which quotes the Danish newspaper Nordjyske.
The car was bought in Germany a few hours before the police stopped the man 20 kilometers south of Hirtshals. A Danish law that came into force this spring gives the police the right to seize cars of people who drive rough. The cars are then resold at auction.
According to Nordjyske, the man had paid 2.7 million Norwegian kroner for the car.
– The owner was a little annoyed, says Jess Falberg, the police officer at work who stopped the rough driving.
The car owner will also receive a speeding ticket for the violation.
