Danish man (28) arrested for liquidation attempt Sittard | Inland

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was seriously injured when he was shot on September 12 on Bradley Street. He was in a car when he was fired on from a motorcycle. The engine was later found burnt out on the Raadskuilderweg in Geleen.

The exact role of the Dane in the shooting is now being further investigated. The suspect is currently still in Denmark. It is not yet known when he will be transferred to the Netherlands.

Other suspects

In this case, the police also arrested two suspects on Friday and Saturday morning. A 35-year-old man was arrested in Maastricht on Friday. Two firearms were found in his home. Early Saturday morning, a 36-year-old man from Sittard was arrested in a hotel in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. The police do not rule out that more arrests will follow.
