Danish aircraft technicians stop sympathy strike

On the night before Thursday last week, 200 aircraft technicians went on a sympathy strike with the SAS pilots, organized via Dansk Metal. Now the strike is over after Dansk Metal agreed with Dansk Industri and SAS on an agreement, federal secretary Keld Bækkelund in Dansk Metal informs DR.

The agreement is mutual, and thus both the strike of sympathy from the employee side and the lockout of the aircraft mechanics from the employers are stopped.

DR further writes that the aircraft mechanics’ local shop stewards will clarify further details on Thursday.
