Daniil Trifonov debuts at the Canary Islands International Music Festival

The pianist will perform in La Palma and Gran Canaria on January 20 and 21 and perform works by Chaikovsky, Schumann, Mozart, Ravel and Scriabin

Daniil Trifonov performs this weekend in the Canary Islands. The pianist is one of the 11 soloists making their debut this year at the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC), which this year recovers 100% of its capacity. As his director announced at the Festival presentation, Jorge Perdiónthe 39th edition of this meeting is marked, above all, by the debut of groups and artists of solid prestige.

The Circus of Mars Theater of La Palma first and the Pérez Galdós Theater in Gran Canaria then they will host the performance of Trifonov, that disembarks on the islands with an imaginative and colorful program. First, she will interpret the Album for Youth, op. 39 of Tchaikovsky and the Fantasy in C major, op. 17 of Schumann. In the second part, the pianist will go through three stages of piano literature with the Fantasy in C minor KV 475 of Mozart, Gaspard of the night of Ravel and the Sonata para piano n.5, op. 53 of Scriabin.

This month, the pianist has participated as a soloist in the seasons of the New Jersey Symphony beside Xian Zhang at the address; the Rotterdam Philharmonic con Lahav Shani on the podium; and has premiered the program that will be heard in the Canary Islands in the Laeizshalle Hamburg. After passing through the Festival, Trifonov will replicate his performance in the Musikverein de Vienna and the Musikverein de Graz.
