Margarita Alvarez Vasquez, was born in Barranquilla on May 24, 1988. She is the daughter of Gustavo Álvarez and Zandra Vásquez. He has two brothers, Andrea and Ricardo. It is Social Communicator and Journalist from the Universidad del Norte de Barranquilla.
Participated in the National Beauty Contest of Colombia 2011 representing the department of Atlántico, held in Cartagena de Indias, where was crowned on the night of November 14, 2011, after obtaining the highest rating of 9.6 on parade in full dress.
