The former boxer spoke about himself at One in his home in Rozzano. “I don’t remember anything,” said Scardina, 32 years old, 20 wins and one defeat in the super middleweight, nicknamed King Toretto, “but I dream of feeling good with my family, of being on my feet again and walking again. I was afraid of dying. Now I no longer dream with my eyes closed, but with my eyes open. My mother is an angel. In the most difficult moments he always brought out the best part of me. He came with me to meetings then left immediately because he was scared.”

Le Iene also took him to Barcelona, his favorite city, to see Geolier’s concert, his great passion. Meanwhile, the physiotherapist spoke about Scardina’s future: “He has achieved unthinkable results, the recovery is truly unexpected, but to date we are not able to know if Daniele will be able to walk again without the support of aids”. And his brother Giovanni remembers: “He weighed 63 kilos and had two tubes in his throat. I was afraid of losing him and never seeing him again.”
