REACTION
As we have already reported, Marcela Augustová (57), an expert on a lot of election graphs and columns, will be a little less on Czech Television. Allegedly, she resigned herself to the possibility of continuing in Events, comments. What did Daniela Písařovicová (44), now from DVTV, who left Czech Television two years ago, reveal about her to eXtra.cz?
Daniela Písařovicová: Marcela Augustová is great
There is sometimes an irreconcilable rivalry between women in work teams, but that cannot be said about presenters Marcela Augustová and Daniela Písařovicová. It was the latter who responded to our question about what she says about her colleague and her decision to reduce her working hours at the public law station.
“I’m going to have a hard time judging Marcela’s decision not to moderate Events and Comments, as far as I know she’s staying in Events. Marcela was a great colleague, always very precisely prepared and in a good mood,” Daniela told eXtra.cz about her iconic colleague.
But she is not alone. Even her boss speaks well of Augustová. „I respect Marcela as one of the biggest professionals in CT. Marcela isn’t going anywherewe continue to count on her as one of the pillars of the Events team, and we look forward to more extraordinary broadcasts.” he expressed himself her colleague Martin Řezničekhimself the star of the recent presidential elections, who as the deputy editor-in-chief in CT news is also in charge of the entire team of presenters.
Jakub Železný: Admiration
Even Jakub Železný spoke admiringly of her years ago. “Marcela Augustová broadcast on the day of the massacre in Uherské Brod (tragedy of a shooting in a restaurant, eight dead and one seriously injured person – editor’s note). And she had an interview with the Zlín police director. It was supposed to be two and a half minutes long and ended up being over eight minutes because nothing else was available. Contributions were not available, in the vernacular, everything fell. There was no single connection. So they told her from the director: ‘Keep talking, keep asking him’. This is a great art of improvisation, I admired Marcela very much at the time,” he confided in the CT program Newsroom.
Jolana Voldánová, who left CT a few years ago, is more reserved. “Marcela is the same all the time. We are colleagues, in the best sense of the word. We always went out of our way. Which, of course, does not mean that one or the other of us somehow clings to TV friendships. We’re both soloists,” she admitted to Téma magazine a few years ago.
