For several months, Daniel Omielańczuk and Denis Załęcki have been attacking each other in conversations with journalists. Now they explained everything during a very exciting fight of the evening, which took place at the Clout MMA 2 gala in Płock. At the end of the third round, security guards had to appear in the cage, and after a while one of the fighters left the cage and was disqualified.
– For many months, kick-boxer and heavyweight martial arts fighter Daniel Omielańczuk and Denis Załęcki have been attacking each other in the media. The former UFC fighter accused his future rival of cheating, while Załęcki doubted the 41-year-old’s sports level. Mutual dislike has grown to unimaginable proportions, especially after the last press conference, during which a fight broke out between them – wrote Sport.pl in September this year.

41-year-old Daniel Omielańczuk is one of the leading Polish MMA fighters in the heavyweight category. He performs in the Russian ACA federation. He fought as many as 42 professional MMA fights and several in K-1. He is fifteen years older than his rival. Załęcki has so far fought nine professional fights in various formulas, and his record is four wins and the same number of defeats.
On Saturday, the fight ended at the end of the first round. Twenty seconds before the end, Daniel Omielańczuk hit his opponent hard and he landed on the boards. While he was already lying on them, Omielańczuk hit him again, which was obviously an unsportsmanlike foul, for which he received minus one point. After a while, a doctor appeared and treated Załęcki’s eyebrow. Fortunately for viewers, the fight continued. One could have had high hopes after the great emotions in the first round.
In the next round, Załęcki irritated his opponent because he kept running away, avoiding the fight and falling. However, he made it to the third round. In it, he was booed by the audience for escaping from his rival. The referee decided to subtract a point from Załęcki and Omielańczuk. Less than two minutes before the end of the fight after too many fouls, the formula of the fight changed and it was continued in MMA. The fans were delighted and applauded this decision. Security guards appeared in the cage and had to stand between the players who had something to say to each other. There was a lot of confusion because Załęcki started talking to judge Piotr Jarosz. Then even Załęcki’s corner came in, and after a while the player himself left the cage.
After a while, the referee announced Omielańczuk had won for disqualifying his opponent. Załęcki was booed by the fans while going to the locker room.
Let us remind you that the first Clout MMA gala, whose ambassadors were influencer Lexy Chaplin and former footballer Sławomir Peszko, took place on August 5 this year.
