GERB has never done such a thing with an official cabinet – to change people and organize administrations. This happened only after elections with a government that came at the will of the Bulgarian citizens, with a parliamentary majority, with opposition in parliament. This was said by GERB Deputy Chairman Daniel Mitov in “Since the day” on BNT.
“The caretaker government has limited legitimacy and is subordinate to a man who has something to take back. He is ambitious to do things that are generally beyond the normal functions of a caretaker cabinet. The caretaker government has the task of preparing the state for elections and to ensure the normal functioning of the administration. And not to deal with the restoration of something he imagined or with revanchism, “Mitov commented.
According to him, the actions of the official cabinet are completely Bolshevik.
Regarding the allegations of the businessman Ilchovski about pressure on businessmen, frauds, schemes, the deputy chairman of GERB commented:
“This circus infuriated me because the parliament cannot become a platform for a quarrel between two businessmen. If there are any violations, signals should be submitted to the relevant institutions.”
GERB found itself in a situation of isolation – the street protested against them for months, the parliament called them a “toxic party”, no one wanted to talk to them.
Mitov said that this isolation was not complete because they are in a coalition.
“I believe that the refusal to engage in dialogue is a manifestation of political immaturity,” he added.
