Talks about the future of Bulgaria cannot be without GERB, claims the former prime ministerial candidate
“When talks are held about the government and the future of Bulgaria, there is no way to go without talks with us.” This was stated before BNR Daniel Mitov, GERB-UDF MP and GERB candidate for Prime Minister.
He said the other political parties in parliament had failed in the general government talks: “We have extended a hand, we have always been constructive and ready to talk. There is no way we can step into this mud at a time when no rules are being followed. “The lack of consistency and non-compliance with the rules of democracy has brought us here.”
Mitov stressed that he did not see how GERB would support any composition of government that this parliament would propose.
“We are in a difficult situation, many crises are ahead. This severe political crisis may turn into an economic one,” Mitov said.
He pointed out that the country is currently governed by one person – President Rumen Radev: “He exercises all power in the country through his cabinet. This leads to chaos.”
According to him, it is illogical the behavior of “There is such a people”, who support Rumen Radev, and at the same time declare themselves in opposition.
