Daniel Lee creates Burberry’s 2024 autumn series with ingenuity and deeply continues the brand’s creative vision.
The new series is rooted in British cultural archetypes, symbols and characters, using fabrics and details to enhance texture and highlight fashion attitude.
From archival patterns to new prints, brand elements are presented in a new way. Soft classic tones meet earthy tones, and Burberry check makes a new appearance.

The new collection offers an effortlessly elegant style. The silhouette is simple and the fabric is lightweight, making it suitable for casual layering in different seasons. Trench coat has a slim, beltless silhouette and is made from silk twill, wool and technical blends.
The functional style comes in classic Burberry colors and is made from a selection of coated cotton, shearling and quilted nylon fabrics. Shearling flight coats and jackets are available sleeveless or reinvented as scarves, a nod to the brand’s flying heritage. The leather look is trimmed with shearling and faux fur, taking inspiration from the brand’s archive bikerwear collection.
There are also classic British coats and jackets, such as the wool horn-buttoned coat, available in new plaid colors and more formal tailoring; practical cotton field jackets; and parkas in various lengths, made of selected wool or garment-dyed canvas . New season looks are loose, functional and protective. Wool shawls, dresses and herringbone shirts feature wraparound snap collars inspired by archival biker jackets. Wool slip dress designed to be worn outside and trimmed with wool lace.
The details are exquisite and eye-catching. Zips can be used to adjust ruched skirts or replace buttons on double-breasted coats and tailored jackets. Garment-dyed cotton cargo pants with snap buttons at sides. The Knight bag shape is reimagined and creatively decorated with a mini skirt in grained calfskin.
The new series of basic high-neck mohair sweaters adopt brushed technology, which is both warm and durable. Wool fringed blanket scarf with equestrian logo and plaid.

Seasonal miniature prints recreate iconic British images: a postbox and a bird’s-eye view of a double-decker bus.
Wrap dresses in jersey pleated crepe and velvet with small mesh or openwork floral patterns. A loose pleated crepe dress in a sfumato print with a blurred watercolor effect and studded detailing.
The shoes introduce new ones and enlarge the proportion of classic elements. The new Wedge high-heeled loafers feature a soft top and a thick, curved sole. Buck leather shoes feature double-strand laces and rubber soles.
