Daniel Craig: – That’s why he prefers gay bars

That agent 007 is no stranger to taking a dry Martini “shaken, not stirred” is common knowledge.

Actor Daniel Craig (53), who has had the role in the last five films, is also no stranger to Martini in the glass, and has even said that he drank dritings on Bond’s signature drink when he got the role.

Maybe you’ll also see him with a Pornstar Martini in the lounge at a gay bar. This is where he may prefer to be when he goes out on the town.

He reveals this in the podcast «Lunch With Bruce».

– I’ve been going to gay bars for as long as I can remember. Because I do not end up in fights at gay bars. The aggressive dick swing on heterobars, I just got so tired of it as a youngster. I do not want to end up in a fight, and it happened often, he says to his friend, Bruce Bozzi.

The two reminisce back to when the two were at a gay bar on Venice Beach in Los Angeles in 2011, and the press got a glimpse of it. The duo was photographed squeezing outside, which brought with it more speculation.

Craig calls the incident “a storm in a glass of water”, and thus explains that he only prefers gay bars over other bars.

– It’s just a nice place to be, everyone is chill, no one needs to proclaim their sexuality. It’s a safe place to be. I could meet girls there, they were there for the same reasons I was there. There was no underlying motive, he says in the podcast.

The action actor will probably not check up on ladies in the city anymore, as he has been married to Rachel Weisz (51) since 2011. Together they had a daughter in 2018. The two also each have a child from a previous relationship.

Craig appeared with his daughter Ella Loudon (29) during the premiere of “No Time To Die” earlier in October.
