Maria Lucia Alves, mother of Daniel Alvesbecame news in the international press after release photos and the name of the young woman what accuses the player of rape. The identity of the 23-year-old girl was confidential in court to protect the victim.

After Maria Lucia’s attitude, the young woman filed a lawsuit against the player’s mother. The information was published by the newspaper “El Periódico”. The victim’s defense would have reinforced that the images displayed by Maria Lucia “violate and intimidate the young woman”.

In the post, Maria Lucia questions the victim, in addition to publishing photos of the young woman in nightclubs wondering if she was really shaken by the situation, as she continues to go out with friends. Maria Lucia also accuses the young woman of just wanting compensation for the lawsuit.

Brazilian entity asks for investigation of Daniel Alves’ mother

The Brazilian Union of Women (UBM) asked the Federal Public Ministry to open a criminal investigation against Daniel Alves and the mother. According to the entity, Maria Lucia had committed a crime of psychological violence against women.

If convicted, the author of the exhibition could receive from 6 months to 2 years in prison, in addition to a fine.

The Barcelona Court set the trial date for Daniel Alves. The Spanish court ruled that the Brazilian player will go to court between February 5th and 7th 2024. The crime would have taken place on December 30, 2022. If convicted, the player could face up to 9 years in prison.
