Daniel Almanza has arrived in León as part of his sports journey called “Superhuman”, a documentary where he will show how he lives his 100-day journey throughout the country.
He arrived in Guanajuato on day 63, since his journey began on January 16 in Los Cabos, Baja California and seeks to conclude on April 25 in Quintana Roo.
“We seek to show the physical wealth and history of the country. Guanajuato is part of this history and wealth, with its haciendas, tomorrow (Sunday) we are going to Guanajuato, later to San Miguel de Allende and we will leave for Querétaro”, commented the marathon runner.
Daniel seeks that his journey be an impulse to show the beauty of culture, project the places and the biodiversity, uses and customs of the places.

Daniel Almanza wants to leave a mark
During the crossing, a medical document is carried out in which it is studied what happens to the human body and mind, when putting it in these conditions.
This project also seeks to be a boost for young people and it is planned to leave a mark by inviting people to join Daniel on some of his journeys, as well as donating to the Red de Banco de Alimentos de México to support his mission, and help those in need.
“I want to tell people to participate for these days or wherever they are, being able to run one or two kilometers and living with people is the most important thing.”
These recordings will be part of a documentary that will be released on the digital platform, although Daniel did not want to mention which one.
“It is going to be a document lasting one hour and 90 minutes. I would lie to you if I told you what platform it would be on, but of course we are going to market it.”
In this way, their passage through the Historic Center and magical towns throughout Mexico will be documented.
The route that Daniel Almanza proposed to travel involves challenges of altimetry, speed and extreme weather conditions.
It will tour 21 states and CDMX. This ultramarathon began on January 16 and, following its purpose, will end on April 25.
On the page www.superhuman.mx you can find the exact locations where it will happen, so you can participate during its tour and even support its initiative.
