It is an announcement that aroused great emotion. Tuesday July 19, 2022, Dani’s manager revealed that the singer had just died at the age of 77 in a press release published with l’AFP : “Dani’s production has the infinite sadness to announce his death. She had just finished touring her album Horizons Dorés and she was already finishing the mixes for a new album., which she had mischievously chosen, Attention Depart. We were warned, she had just forgotten to tell us that it would be imminent”.
Quickly, the tributes had succeeded on the social networks, as well from anonymous as from artists and personalities. This is particularly the case of Étienne Daho with whom Dani had shared the now famous title like a boomerang. On his Instagram account, he had published a sublime text: “You the unclassifiable, free, so young. Model, actress, magazine leader, singer, rose gardener. You did everything with the elegance of dilettantes, surfing, off the beaten path, without letting yourself be locked up in the boxes in which we wanted to lock you up, charming your world with your mischief and your deep, sensitive voice, hidden in the volutes smoke from your cigarettes. Dani, a loving mother
