Barcelona –
Dani Alves still want to see Lionel Messi retired as a player Barcelona. Therefore, Alves asked Messi to return to Catalan.
Messi no longer continued his career as a Barcelona player last summer, after his contract expired. The financial crisis forced Messi to leave the club.
Messi then accepted the offer Paris Saint Germain who had apparently been after him for a long time. As a result, PSG became Messi’s first club outside Barcelona.
Not even one season to strengthen PSG, Messi has been hit by rumors about him not being comfortable playing there. Despite being highly paid and supported by many top players, Messi’s performance is still disappointing.
So far, Messi has only scored six goals in 16 appearances in all competitions. This condition makes Messi’s future speculated because he is claimed to be unhappy at PSG.
So there is news that Messi only played one season at PSG, and then returned to Barcelona next season. Dani Alves, who is a former teammate at Los Cules, heated up Messi.
“Messi is the best player in the history of football, it’s strange to see him not here, not in this squad,” said Alves, who returned to Barcelona at the end of last year.
“Sometimes reality is not what we expect. I have told him that this is the best place for him,” he continued as quoted Football Espana.
“He said the same thing when I left. It would be nice if Messi retired here.” Dani Alves.
