Dani Alves will face trial in a sexual assault case. Legend Barcelona it uses the services of a lawyer who used to be a lawyer Lionel Messi.
Alves was arrested by the Barcelona Police, Friday (20/1/2023). The Brazilian footballer was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub.
The case occurred on December 30, 2022. It was alleged that Alves abused his victim by groping his body and forcing oral sex.
Dani Alves had to undergo legal proceedings after being arrested by the police. The passport of the 39-year-old man was also detained by the authorities.
According to Marca, Alves has hired a lawyer to undergo the legal process. Cristobal Martell who was appointed as his attorney.
Martell is a well-known attorney who has served as attorney for various top footballers. Lionel Messi is one of his clients.

Messi hired Martell’s services for the tax evasion case that happened to him in 2013. Martell also became Barcelona’s lawyer for cases of tax violations in recruiting Neymar.
Martell will lead the defense along with attorneys Dani Alves another, Miraida Puente Wilson. They have been tasked with appealing against his client’s imprisonment.
